I like the bench anvil idea. Maybe square it up with the press and
weld on a base plate.

When I met this guy 4 years ago, I asked about pins but they all had
lubrication holes. They have changed to putting the grease fittings on
the housing and making the pins solid. He used to work in the shop
but because of a back injury has moved into the office. He spotted these
in the scrap bin and grabbed them for me. He said that most of the time
they are replaced in the field and never make it back to the shop. They
only get them in the shop when the CAT is getting a major overhaul.

I'm very busy during the summer, but kind of slow this time of year.
I just started an AutoCad Detailing job this week which will keep me
out of the shop for a couple weeks. Maybe by then it will be warmed
up enough that my unheated shop will be bareable again. It's unusual
that Missouri would be around 0deg for several weeks. I picked up
a salimander portable heater which gives me a little releaf.

I'm glad you enjoy the crystal. It was neet but I had no place for it.
