My grandmother told a similar story, watching lightening hit a tree outside,
then wandering around a bit until it vanished. Personally, I'd say both
ladies were pretty lucky not to have a more, um, intimate encounter with it.
I really wonder about that guy, the Park Ranger, who claims to have been
struck by lightening 5+ times. Dunno about the rest of you, but I'd be
definitely watching where I was during thunder storms....
