Mark, Yes. Wanted the pattern to stand out at a distance. After etching, I applied some beeswax, heated it to carbonize it and blacken the ornament. Finally I sanded lightly with 800 grit wet paper to reveal the raised areas. Bill Well done Bill Merry Christmas Mark
