I've been going through the same thing as well...pulled my arms back
behind my head, could barely drive home. That was before halloween.
I've been using a heating pad on it for the past oculd weeks, twice a
day--they say 20 min heat 20 min ice at least twice each per session is
good, but Ive been kind of lazy with the ice. I put the heating pad on
and go to sleep, wake up a while later and take it off. Wife and cats
like it too. Almost as important, it seems to finally be improving,
slowly. Tore a cuff lifting a few years ago and it took most of a year
to be back right. Get some of the rubber band exercises from your
doc-they help prevent further injuries and help heal the old ones. No
replacement for physical conditioning. (He says, stating the obvious).
