	I'm in the middle of the same thing.  Been that way for 8 weeks now and 
not getting much better.  Went to Dr. Chen and he pin-cushioned me up. 
Helped for a few days and then back to misery.  If I could be rid of 
this pain by grinding off the ends of two more of my fingers, I would 
not even have to think about it, the pain is that bad, and has now 
started radiating down into the forearm and fingers. I would say give it 
rest, as per Dr. Chen's orders, but even so it hasn't gotten much 
better.  These injuries just may take some serious time for healing. 
I'm better, but still in a lot of pain.

See a doctor if you can.  An MRI or CAT should reveal whether you have 
torn the cuff.  Don't be too anxious to get surgery if doc recommends it.
