Extra air reservoir is a good use for all those old style propane tanks you
can't (legally) fill any more.

Rinsing with water and a little chlorox will get rid of the smell. Of course
you'll need to change the fitting but that's way cheaper than trying to
convert to the new "safety" valve so you can fill it.
