Andy,
Most life insurance companies have a combat zone clause in them. The only
way to find out is to ask. Most will want to know where you're going to be;
if it's a hazardous area or a combat zone, they'll either disallow the
insurance, or charge you a swingeing rate. Make sure you have it all in
writing before signing.
