hello;

while digging around i happened upon this web page which provides some
more insight into propane vs. acetylene. it also provides more
information into why the in the oxy-propane torch vs oxy-actylene torch
test that was conducted by frosty had the results that it did.

also explains too why the original poster of the acetylene to propane
switch was consuming so much acetylene. it is the nature of the gas.

all has to do with the inner and outer flame characteristics.
