	I'm sure you know the numerous old saws (wa wa wa...) about
	the right tool for the job, so I won't lecture you on that.
	If you need something for awhile, rigging it up can
	be OK, but really the question is predicated on two things:
	whether the setup is safe, and will it do the job well
	enough?  It could be that the amount of time and other
	resources you will expend in attempting to make this flat
	machine stand up straight will more than offset the cost of
	a vertical saw.  Just something to consider, especially
	when the vertical saw is made for vertical work, etc. and
	so on.
