How does the Plistix hold up against flux?

One way to get top drawer protection against flux corrosion is a sheet
of niobium.  Beware this is very costly, but a sheet of 20ga should
last longer than any human being will.  Another way is to use Haynes
230, a high temp alloy.  Less $$ than Nb, but also not nearly as 
effective, though good to, IIRC, 2350*F.  Nb melts at 4474*F and is
therefore a refractory metal like Pt, Ir, Ru, Rh, W, etc.
