Air cylinder control valves:
The air supply to the hammer must provide a continuous mist of oil not 
heavier than SAE 10W non-detergent lubricating oil, to provide 
lubrication to the air cylinder and main control valves. Straight SAE 10 
W non-detergent motor oil is excellent for this purpose, provided it 
does not contain detergents, additives, etc. DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF 
SYNTHETIC OIL, MARVEL MYSTERY OIL, OR WD-40 AS LUBRICANTS IN THE AIR 
SUPPLY. Proper attention to these lubrication requirements will prevent 
many difficulties....
