Andy- Looks like a special order. I'm on the phone now with Pacific welding
in Tacoma.
Wellll, hmmph- at $17.50/lb 10 lb minumum I think I'll stick with my 7018
repairs~
Just kidding. I am, on their advice, going to try Rankin industries
Raynite-A "Wear-Facing" as opposed to hard facing rod. As welded 47RC, work
hardens to 50's. And in-stock. 'Readily bonds to any carbon-based steel'
Sounds right and if it works out I'll save some for you.
Steve
Steve-
If you find some, let me know- Central Welding is the only supplier in my
usual rambling distance and they've never heard of it.
I've used the Stoody and it held up fine but is difficult to run and tends
to be pitted- don't know why...might be operator error. ;-)
