[TheForge] Stainless hardening question

You have to first answer what type (alloy) you used to make your knife. If
you used a 300 series, most likely 304 or 316 you are out of luck. If you
used a 400 series, such as 420 then it can be heat treated. Is it magnetic
at room temperature? If so it is not a 300 series but a 400 series.
Commercial stainless steel knifes are 400 series.
