[TheForge] Yellin iron work in Philly (was: Phila Inquirer features article about Samuel Yellin)

Bruce,

Two quick ones that come to mind are 15th & Chestnut, huge entry gate
and lantern fixtures on old bank building being converted to apts. and
University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology at
32nd or so and Spruce St. The museum sight is currently being partially
excavated so one of the gates has I think been removed. Also at the
Bourse Building on the east side (4th St. between Market and Chestnut),
is a beautiful large gate. I'm not sure if this is Yellin but looks to
be from the same era.

Cheers,
Bill Woolley
