I just got one of those pack-it-up-and-throw-it-on-the-mule box type =
forges
(used not much) from a friend who can't smith anymore. No identifying =
marks-
I always thought these were made for the military- does anybody know if =
they
were sold commercially? Guessing that the "US ARMY" logo has been =
painted
over. Also, since it's kind of authentic, is there anything special =
about
the little three-screw cover that protects the blower fins in transit? =
If
not, I'll just make another one, if so, I'll try to buy one so that it's =
all
restored to original. Thanks for any input! Andy G.
