Bruce,
When you say "pipe wrench movable jaws" do you mean JUST the L-shaped
piece from a stilson wrench?
Right, Just the l shaped pieces from two pipe wrenches, slanted groves for
gripping the pipe on the short leg of the L and threads on the long leg of
the L that would in a pipe wrench have the round knurled "nut" for adjusting
the fit of the wrench.
I found several of these L-shaped pieces welded together Long leg to long
leg with both short legs pointing the same direction so as to make a wide
short "U" shape. Boy wouold a picture be worth a lot of my words. Anyway,
I have no idea what they might have been used for, but I did bring home
several non welded moveable pipewrench jaws to add to my collection of pipe
wrench parts, one from a 48" wrench, which is bigger than I'd like to use.
