If this engine ever goes into an aircraft, it will be through the
cargo hatch. It's a straight 6 flathead and weighs more, I think, than
a 25# LG.

I hope it will run my 300# air hammer. It has a clutch, will need a
ca. 2:1 or 3:1 speed reduction. If it quits because I messed up the
mechanicals, the air hammer will not fall out of the sky. :-)
If anyone knows where I can find a bunch of folks as keen on old
industrial engines as we are on anvils and forges, kindly let me
know. I think I may have luck with the old tractor guys. It was
running a saw mill until "something went wrong with it." I suspect a
conrod bearing but have a ways to go before I can be sure.
