Dear Dave,

I called a couple of mills a while back and 1003 is available by the
"carrier" which I think is about 3000# or so, up to 1/2" dia. round, but it
is coiled, so we would need to rig up a straightener. Do you have experience
with unwinding a coil of steel into rods?  1003 would sure forge and weld
nicely. (drool)
