Ralph,
Johan could likely tell you better than I can, but when I was doing research
on handicapped accessibility on other matters, they always gave a range-
depending on what it was "height for a table, width of doorways, height of
toilet "monkey bars" and the like) there was always either a minimum, a
maximum, or a range between both. Likely your best bet is to call down and
ask what the local building codes require- they should have been modified by
now to include the acceptable range.
There are national standards at this point- if you look up the ADA
(Americans with Disabilities Act) you should be able to find what you need.
