Warren Wilson College here in NC basicly uses the book -- A Blacksmithing
Primer - a course in basic and intermediate blacksmithing by Randy McDaniel
ISBN 0-9662589-0-8  Copyright 1998  the web site is DRGNFLY4G.COM   For mail

There are lots of good "books" out there but this is the one I would use for
a  apprentice program.  For what it is worth my background includes work
with industrial apprentice programs in machine shop work and roll grinding.
