I refuse to use Internet Explorer, except for those sites that haven't been properly designed and will only work with it. I used to use Netscape, but since it was killed by AOL, I switched to Mozilla Firebird. It has a pop-up blocker that is selected by a check-box in the options section. It also is very fast, much more so than the full-blown Mozilla. Both Mozilla and Firebird are free. Terry
