Bruce,
  I probably have some mild steel in 1 3/4 or 2"(posts from old W/I 
fencing, calm down guys its not W/I). Let me know if you want some. I could 
weld a plate of something harder to the end for you also if you want, but I 
don't want Marshall to feel left out. Let me know
