I bought a Miller 175 earlier this year.  I compared price and features of
~6 brands before deciding.  The best price I found was www.brwelder.com

Same here.  I use the arc welder for heavy iron.

The nice thing about MIG is that it takes ~30 seconds to learn to make a
good weld.  Just point the gun and squeeze the trigger.
