You *do* know about the pinhole effect?  Curl your forefinger up as
tight as possible.  Put you finger right against your orbital ridge,
try to peer through the "hole" and open your finger a tiny bit until
you can see a glimmer of light.  Fiddle with the size of the hole
(small as possible) and the distance to the menu until it comes into
focus.  In a good light I can read the fine print on a matchbook that
way -- about 4pt -- without glasses.
