I have, that's why it's so tempting.  Last February I went up to Gene 
Olson's place in Elk River, MN to work on a stainless railing and banister 
for some rich mogul's new lakeside home.  I got my intro to TIG in a big 
way on that job.  The foot pedal is really a good thing and gives you great 
control over the power usage.  I even tried TIGing some 22ga sheet but 
wasn't very good at keeping the heat down.  Burnt a lot of holes that 
needed filling.  But the TIG is great for the filling also.

My problem is justification on a tight budget and only limited projects to 
use it.  When I was doing a lot of smithing it would have been worth 
it.  But the last couple of years it's been more hobby than work.  So I 
guess I'll have to work on that justification a little more.
