I am already way down that path to evil- The miller sychrowave 250 is 
an AC/DC tig machine, and then I also have a DC only miller inverter 
set up with high frequency and water cooled torch. Today, for example, 
both of the guys who work for me were simultaneously tig welding for 
hours on end.  I can also run two aluminum welding mig guns at the same 
time, or 2 steel mig guns, or 2 stick welders. Or for that matter, 2 
plasma cutters. And I often do these things, or some combination of 
them.
We tig almost everything around my shop- partly because if designed 
properly, there isnt any grinding, partly because we do a lot of 
stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum. But even mild steel almost 
always gets tigged- it is quicker, cleaner, and  looks better with less 
grunt work.
