Larry,

Tom Clark and Phil Cox are doing this. Phil Had his 25# Little giant at
conference with this set up. It seemed very solid, was designed for the 110#
turkish hammer so could easlly handle a 50# LG. The sow block is two parts
and slightlly dished so it can be positioned to line up with the top die.
If you are interested in looking into this process Tom runs an add in the
Anvil's Ring.

Hi Larry,
I was speaking with Bill Bastas about a simular problem one day and
he told me about someone making "sow blocks" for the turkish air hammers
that could be bolted down to the LG if you sawed off the old dove tail
and drilled and tapped the base. He also said something about the new
sow block is make so it can be leveled to the ram before locking down.
I won't see him again for a while but I think he can be reached at the
art dept of Austin Community College.
Anyone else know of the parts he was speaking about?
