This is just my opinion on boots. I have had redwing, Georgia, military
combat boots and cheap Walmart or K-mart boots. I wear my boots 10 hours a
day to survey work. I might have to climb hills or walk in sand or walk down
a highway doing my survey work. I also wear those same boots will working on
my forge. It mainly doesn't matter who makes them but what type of insoles
you have. I have taken out all of the original insoles and replaces them with
Dr. Scholls insoles for work boots. My feet do not hurt or bother me after 10
hours in them. I change them when I feel that they are wearing out. Usually
they last about 6 months but I have had them last over a year depending on
the boot. I also wear thick work socks too to keep my feet dry.
Last I live in Arizona and it can destroy almost any boot or high hiking boot
quickly.
But it is a dry heat.
