Any way you can express it, if it's about blacksmithing, is fine with 
me. There is no English test rerquired to molest innocent pieces of 
steel. Profanity is highly expressive and an ancient part of the 
language...further, rough language is also traditionally associated with 
blacksmithing..
So, to hell with being so  fucking prissy that  even Shirley Temple 
would approve....I never liked her anyway.......Pete
