Would you please hush up!!  I know this, he doesn't.  All he knows is what 
the small engine repair shop is gonna charge him to replace it.  I'm not 
about to clue him in ....  But I may fix it for him at a more reasonable 
fee (he's not a close friend, more like a minor acquaintance).

This one is a straight shaft with a 1/4" solid rod drive shaft.

Now to find a piece of aluminum tubing before I suggest to him that I can 
fix it ... for a fee.

He's lucky his name isn't Bob Schade ... I'd double the fee and offer a 25% 
discount. <LOL>
