Hi John;
He is retired...years ago. Think he was an engineer. He lives a couple
of hours south of me.
Not a man for tomfoolery though.
I suppose that someone with his economic impact on us poor blacksmiths
has to keep a straight face around us, like bankers do.
Whn i saw him at the spring conf he was kinda worried. He had evidently
fallen asleep at the wheel. damaged his truck and seemed somewhat
shaken. I once tried to catch up with him when i spotted him on the
way home after a conference....went pedal to the metal but he receded in
the distance.
. He certainly does a great service.
We have another guy in the CBA who does books....Dee ( I'm drawing a
blank), but no where as ambitious.
Glad we sent him there ( to europe).............Pete
