Hi
The lights are used for all work.  They are set on opposite sides so my 
hand or tools do not shadow what I need to see.
The pair pictured hang from a slice of square tube which in turn slides 
on a smaller tube arm mounted to the wall.
This allows the lights to be moved as a work piece requires.
I use halogens in pairs at several locations in the shop.  I further 
have one on an articulated boom at each vise.
