Some band saw blades are L6 not S6.  These are usually band saw blades
for cutting logs into lumber not Bi-metal blades used to cut steel.
Some are a Swedish steel which I believe has a N in the number.  Both
are used by the knife makers for Damascus steel.  Again this is L6 not
S6
