Band saw blades are generally S-6 (or is that L-6), although the ones from 
Sweden are somewhat different, but still similar.  The thicker gang saw 
blades may be something else.  A friend has a piece of one going down to a 
technical college for testing and identification.  I'll pass the results 
along when I get them if he doesn't post them here himself.
