Neat trick. But I believe the same effect can be got using "meta text".
Anyone who is interested in doing this should get a book on doing
websites. Laura Lemay wrote a good book some years back, but it's out
of print now and probably outdated. Good author, though.

A quick fix we used to do years ago was add the text needed for the
search engines in text the same color as the background. This puts
you
on the search engines without reworking your pre designed catalog.
Not
themost web friendly, but a step up with minimal expenditure. This used
to work, although some sites started using it for more nefarious
purposes and as a result I have heard that some search engines block it
(it was called cramming as I recall).
