[TheForge] multiple questions concerning a possible project

hello frosty;
hoes goes it up there?
if i had the time and money i would level the current house to the
foundation and rebuild. the best i am able to do is keep the exterior
walls and floor. the roof may need to be taken off since we are finding
problems with parts of it.
if i could convince a certain party to go visit her relatives and come
back when the project is done, i am convinced the project would be in
half the time. ;-)
concerning a mobile home, the county will not allow it. someone else
tried that several years ago while building their home on 40 acres near
me. county fined them a rather large sum of money for having the mobile
home on land zoned agriculture. ended up in the courts for several
years. however, the county will allow tents or yurts.
the county would also allow me to build a new house to the west on the
land if i would guarantee to demolish the old house when the new one was
finished. of course the county would also raise my taxes through the
roof if i were to build a new house.
actually, there is a thought, build the yurts on the west end of the
land and demolish the current house. county taxes would drop since yurts
are considered temporary buildings and fall into the same catagory as
greenhouse.
i still like my idea for the wall connector. if i could find something
close all ready made that would be great. making several hundred of them
just does not appeal to me.
