Morning Terry:

There're few things worse to try than living in a house while you build or
remodel it. I know. <sigh>

Unless you're looking for the experience and challenge of scratch building a
yurt or just plain hate mobile homes (something I also know from experience)
you'd be further ahead time, money and effort wise by moving a mobile home
in for the remodel period. You could probably completely remodel the house
faster than building two or three 12' + yurts from scratch. You'd also be
able to resell the mobile home.

On the other hand, having a couple yurts might come in handy and they'd
probably sell for more than an old mobile home.

Will give your fastener and brass vs. SS questions some thought.
