Phlip,

My experience is a few years old. I dont' even have the camera I used
anymore.

The software that came with my camera, as well as other software
available, makes digital photography very forgiving. What a
silver-emultion developer (person) could do in a darkroom, you can do on
your computer. Basically, you can take a so-so shot (as it first
appears on uploading it to the computer), modify brightness and
contrast, crop, rotate, etc, and come up with a good photograph. You
can take a poor to mediocre shot and make it acceptable, at least for
website use.

The big no-no is bright spots. You cannot fix bright spots. Diffuse
lighting is essential, with no bright reflections. You can fix dark
areas much better than bright spots.

My suggestion: Get your hands on a digital camera and computer and
play. After a while you'll know what questions you want to ask.

Do you have a computer program that coordinates with your camera, to
give
you the best possible images? If so, what is it?

Are there any tricks of lighting and arrangement that give you the
best
possible images to display your work? If so, what are they?
