Pete.....yikes! Sorry to hear of your injury. I wince thinking about how much pain that must have been. 

Your subsequent invention came about as a direct result of that misfortune and that tool will serve you well for a long time, two handed or one. Isn't it interesting how Americans are so adept at thinking through a problem and finding a workable solution? And not just a baling wire and tape solution, but am engineered solution. My hat goes off to you. Hope your finger heals straight and strong. The newer therapies include moving it as soon as possible, do they have you in PT yet?

Looks like over-reactions on every hand....kinda funny though. We take ourselves too seriously and it gets in the way sometimes. ON TOPIC I took and made a hardy-tanged holder that fits the newly added alignment guides for my spring fuller collection. now I slap the holder in the hardy hole on my treadle hammer or anvil and I can easily trade out different spring fullers during a heat...and win a free hand.....well, Had to do something while my L.hand was in a cast ( yeah, treadle hammer, just one finger).....Pete Reynolds wrote: >OK Dan.
