> Many of us get off topic a bit at times. A little banter can be fine.
However, verbose narratives unrelated to smithing, tools, marketing etc.,
which include descriptions of meals, weather, fond memories and other
subjects unrelated to blacksmithing are, well, not cherished by this reader.
The rest snipped, due to utter lack of good sense.
Reynolds, I don't know what planet you come from, or who peed in your
Wheaties, but the last I heard, a description of a blacksmithing event on a
List dedicated to the blacksmithing community is not off topic. We are not
just a bunch of hammer arms pounding iron- if we were, we could set up the
25 lb Little Giant List, and let the machines talk to each other. Instead,
we are mostly a group of friends who share a passion for the steel and the
events we enjoy together, and, unless I'm sadly mistaken, it's the community
we share that draws us together. If all we wanted was information, we could
stay home with a matalurgy manual.
Unless Dave objects, and tells me so publicly, I will continue to post about
my involvement in smithing events, and impressions and experiences I have.
If you don't like my postings, please feel free to delete them- or better
yet, fold them 5 ways and forge weld them to your prominent arse.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is probably not a
cat.
Never a horse that cain't be rode,
And never a rider who cain't be throwed....
