Many of us get off topic a bit at times. A little banter can be fine. However, verbose narratives unrelated to smithing, tools, marketing etc., which include descriptions of meals, weather, fond memories and other subjects unrelated to blacksmithing are, well, not cherished by this reader. 

I read most posts as I hope there is something that the writer intends to say germane to blacksmithing. I want to hear those type comments. If I read a post and that does not occur, then I feel like I have wasted my time. 

In the future, please denote your post as "off topic" so I, and other forum participants, know beforehand that your comments do not pertain to blacksmithing and can make a reading decision accordingly.

I'm glad you had a good time, I just didn't want to be hoodwinked into reading about it.
