It's been interesting, sorta, to follow this series.
I am reminded of a lecture I once received from an individual on why I
should clean up my language.
The lecturer then climbed down from his moral perch long enough to burn
the records of a corporations' meeting,
to hide the language he and others had used (dirty words are not the
only 'dirty words').........so much for clean language as an indicator
of individual decency or honor.
The twit also took a porta bandsaw to an antique coal forge when he
failed to grasp how to build a decent coal fire..... so much for clean
language as an indicator of more than a single brain cell in residence
as well.
Oh well, what the fudge....

ps: for a feel on the evolution or devolution of language, look at Tom
Sawyer when he gets dressed down for using the 'D' word.......it was
'darn'........
