hello;

if you have access to liquid nitrogen pour liquid nitrogen down the
liner. this should cause the liner to contract enough to be slide out of
the bronze cannon.

if you do not have access to liquid nitrogen try dry ice in an alcohol
slurry. this should also cause the liner to contract enough to be slide
out of the bronze cannon.

the alternative is to warm the bronze cannon while keeping the steel
liner cool. that is going to be difficult with the rapid heat
dissipation of bronze.
