[TheForge] ABANA Board Elections

To win the anvil you need to vote. To vote you need to belong. To belong you need
to pay dues. I for one think this is pretty sharp. I wonder if there are more, like
me, who have let their memberships lapse, who might be tweaked into rejoining, just
for the raffle.

I will bet that the local near any conference picks up members, just for the
conference.

Those dues are sometimes a hard thing to remember after electric, fuel and food
bills are paid.

Intended or not, this is good promotion.

I do , however, agree that to not vote if one already belongs is ,um, well, not
well reasoned.
