I do no trust my automatic vent to keep the tank dry. Try running a 1/8
inch copper tube from the manual drain port to a ball cock placed where
you see it when you go for the light switch. Blowing it off manually
once or twice a day
should keep the tank dry.
Even with the automatic drain working there still seems to be plenty in
the line when I drain it,
