Method 1- Take channel iron or 1/4x 1/2 stock and bend and form on the
stair to make a template.
Method two- Spread paper on the floor. Use a plumb bob and drop down
from each step nose. Mark location on the paper with the height to the
nose. Go back to shop and on the layout table use paper to mark the
radius of the stair. Weld angle iron pieces that elevate the steps on to
the curve. What you have done is to flatten the stair at the site and re
elevate it at the shop. Use the elevated points to bend your rails. Bob
