If I'm correct that this is the stuff composed of two layers of foil
with a layer of bubblepack between them, then yes, I've used it in one
place.

Our house is a 1860s farm house with a dirt cellar under half.  The
kitchen floor over the cellar is the original two layers of hemlock
boards (with now crumbling 19th c. newspapers between. :-).  I put
this stuff on the underside of the floor between the supporting
timbers.  Made the floor much warmer in winter.  Blocks drafts through
the old, shrunken boards too.
