Chuck, I'm not looking for any frying pan blanks, but I was
wondering if Roger is still casting those swage blocks and firepots. I
picked up one of his firepots at
LaCross - nice casting.
Made any more hydraulic presses lately? I think you had a real
slick unit at the conference.
I finally got my web site on line a couple weeks ago.........I've
included it in the signature at the bottom of this note if you feel like
checking it out. I hear a few folks mention on Netscape it doesn't work
well with the slide show of the forging, shop tools and welding pictures. I
haven't had time to mess with it since I posted it and corrected a few
spelling errors as work has been flat out lately with welding repairs,
machine rebuilding, and some forge work.
Just returned from Deer Isle Maine, where I rebuilt a 50 lb Little
Giant and tuned up a 25 lb LG and a 50lb Champion. Got to do some babbit
pours which I hadn't done in a while........so that was fun.
Anyone you know of have any 8" hydraulic cylinder? I checked with
Steve Parker, but he didn't have anything that large.
Glad you sent in this reply to Dave, as I've been meaning to send
you a note. :-)
