[TheForge] treadle hammer anvils

I've had about the same experience. Mine is a Spencer style with a solid
anvil. I set it level at about 4" and use 3" long tools for the most
part. I have a 1/2" plate, a 2", and a 4" that I welded a 1" square to
fit the hardy hole. To change height it is a matter of picking one up
and putting the other on.

When I finally got around to building it, the only thing I questioned was
why I waited so long. It is by far the best blacksmithing tool I ever
made.
