I'm glad to hear others are taking that approach too [making prototypes].  
I was getting worried I was working at the Saws too slowly or wasting time 
by trying some different ideas out.

What's the consensus about completing items that are partial artifacts.  
For example the smaller saw is broken off at approx 13".  Do we make a 
broken saw, "finish" it to that length, or use other evidence and make 
it "like new"? (If I were to make it "like new" I would take the dimension 
ratios of the larger and intact saw and scale it down to make a best 
guess).
